For everyone's delight on the 7th of February John's solo exhibition opened in the Lantern Centre. John's is the first of an exhibition series presenting the works of the Lantern Workshops to the wider community. John's been known for his talent for drawing for many years. He joined the Lantern ArtStudio in 2009 with renewed interest in artistic activities.
Alongside the many projects he did with us John would find his own special subjects to draw, the scenes of his special experiences, his personal spaces. He was encouraged to carry on and this exhibition was born.
John due to his busy timetable isn't involved with our activity at present, but he is always welcome back and we would love to work with him again. John was one of the original members of the team, next to Katie, Akane, Daniel and Frances, who helped reopen the art studio space for regular workshop action.
